Smart Solar Solution has a corporate philosophy to "walk the talk". We have installed a 3.4 kW grid tied PV system on our facade. There are 18 190 W panels installed as an awning to our office that provide shading in the summer months and electricity year round.

Buzz Burgett, Owner:
Earl "Buzz" Burgett formed his first solar company almost 30 years ago, installing systems throughout the Seattle area. At the age 26, his brother and brother-in-law came to him afire with enthusiasm about how Americans could heat their homes with the power of the sun. In 1978, the three formed Energy Production Systems. The industry was so new that the three had to be inventors as well as installers.

Buzz stays at the forefront of the solar industry. He is a pioneer in solar systems,staying on top of all the latest technology and products available.

Larry Owens, Project Manager:
As an active member in the solar community Larry co-founded the Shoreline Solar Project which puts on the Shoreline Solar Fair, the largest solar festival in the state. He was the immediate past vice president of Solar Washington and with the governor, helped legislate sales tax exemption for solar hot water systems. Larry will be teaching the solar hot water design and installation class at Shoreline Community College through Washington State University in the fall of 2008. He has had solar solutions on his home for nineteen years.

Zach Burgett, Installer:
Zach has over ten years experience as a plumber working with hydronic heating and solar hot water systems. Zach has been head of installation on all of our solar projects for the past year ensuring quality, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. Being that Zach is Buzz’s son, he has had a wealth of knowledge passed down to him.

Jeremy Keller, Engineer:
With a BS in engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Oregon State University, Jeremy has what it takes to ensure your system works before we begin installing your project.
